ACE Accredidation
The
American Council on Education (ACE) has evaluated and recommended college or university
credit for Art Instruction Schools’ Fundamentals of Art program. ACE has recommended
to over 3,000 colleges and universities throughout the United States that a total
of 24 semester hours of credit in Art Education or Studio Art be granted at the
lower division associate or baccalaureate degree level for completion of the Fundamentals
of Art program. ACE, the major coordinating body for all the nation’s higher education
institutions, seeks to provide leadership and a unifying voice on key higher education
issues and to influence public policy through advocacy, research and program initiatives.
For more than 30 years, colleges and universities have trusted ACE CREDIT to provide
reliable course equivalency information to facilitate their decisions to award academic
credit. For more information, visit the ACE CREDIT website at http://www.acenet.edu/acecredit.
