DETC Accredidation

Art Instruction Schools has been continuously accredited by the Accrediting Commission of the Distance Education and Training Council (DETC) since 1956. The Accrediting Commission of the Distance Education and Training Council is listed by the United States Department of Education as a nationally recognized accrediting agency and is a recognized member of the Council for Higher Education Accreditation. The School has been re-accredited every five years since 1956 and has been found to meet the Accrediting Commission’s published academic and ethical standards. Accreditation gives public recognition to an institution that it meets rigorous established standards. Accreditation assures each student that the institution has approved programs of study, has qualified instructors, has adequate facilities, is financially sound and has approved admissions policies. Art Instruction Schools holds extensive state licensures. Art Instruction Schools is licensed in our state of domicile, Minnesota, and complies with all state regulations in the states in which we operate. Art Instruction Schools enrolls students throughout the United States and Canada.
